Parents do not receive child benefits on a large scale: over 64 thousand appeals to the Pension Fund

Since the beginning of the year, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has received over 64 thousand requests due to irregularities in the calculation and payment of childcare benefits.

This was reported by the newspaper Telegraf. According to journalists, a significant number of parents did not receive their money on time in February.

Causes of problems

The main factors of delays are:

• malfunctions in the operation of information systems Pension Fund;

• new rules for processing payments, which complicated the procedure;

• queues and technical errors when submitting documents.

As a result, thousands of families were temporarily left without the financial support they had been counting on.
