The Security Service of Ukraine has launched searches in the Lviv City Council. According to preliminary information, the investigative actions relate to the activities of officials related to the use of budget funds for the restoration of the city after the missile attack.

The SBU is taking measures to implement the investigation, which may indicate abuse by officials. According to Ivan Ivanovich, one of the deputies, had previously pointed out to the council the dangerous and non-transparent methods of using budget funds for public works.

It is noted that the investigation began after the missile attacks on Lviv. At that time, the city needed urgent assistance to rebuild its infrastructure. The issue of expenditures and proper control over them became the basis for a more detailed investigation.
