Three TCC employees beat a man to death in Dnipro region
Dnipropetrovska oblast. Law enforcement officers detained three servicemen of the territorial recruitment and social support centre involved in the death of a man. This was reported by police of Dnipropetrovska oblast.
What happened
According to the investigation, the police received a report of the death of a 55-year-old man on the night of 7 February. Preliminary examination results indicate that the cause of death was head injury.
Law enforcement officers examined the scene, seized material evidence and a vehicle with traces of the victim's blood. Witnesses and eyewitnesses were also interviewed.
Suspects and the article
In the course of investigative actions, it was established that the following persons may be involved in inflicting fatal injuries three TCC servicemen.
They were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The actions of the suspects are classified under ч. 2 Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional grievous bodily harm that caused the victim's death.
The investigation is ongoing
A pre-trial investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Law enforcement officials emphasise that final conclusions will be made after the investigation is completed.
Context.
Such incidents involving representatives of military structures cause a significant public outcry and are under special control of law enforcement agencies. If proven guilty, the suspects face long prison sentences.
