Government to hand over 10,000 charging stations to children with subgroup A disabilities
The Government of Ukraine will allocate 10 thousand portable charging stations with a capacity of 2 kWh for children with disabilities of subgroup A. This was reported by Yulia Sviridenko.
What the stations are designed for
We are talking about portable backup power systems that will allow:
maintain the work vital medical devices;
provide power rehabilitation equipment;
reduce risks during emergency and planned power outages.
Who will be responsible for distribution
The transfer of devices will be organised by Ministry of Social Policy. It is the agency that will determine the mechanism for providing families with equipment and the procedure for obtaining it.
Context.
The backup power supply programme for vulnerable people is being expanded amid regular attacks on energy infrastructure and the risk of power outages in the regions.
