Shooting in Zaporizhzhia by a minor
A shooting in the courtyard of an apartment building in Zaporizhzhia was organised by a minor boy born in 2010. This was reported in the To the National Police of Ukraine.
Details of the incident
According to preliminary information, the teenager:
carried out several shots in the air with firearms;
afterwards fell and inadvertently wounded himself with another shot;
was hospitalised, His condition is being clarified.
There were no other injuries as a result of the incident.
What happens next
Investigative teams are working at the scene. Police officers:
establish all the circumstances of the incident;
find out origin of the weapon;
resolve the issue of legal qualification incident and entering information into the Unified register of pre-trial investigations.

Law enforcement officials emphasise the danger of illegal arms trafficking and access to weapons by minors, especially in wartime. Such incidents are under special control of the National Police.
