27 March marks the 1493rd day of Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine. Over the past day, 150 combat engagements were recorded at the frontline. The defence forces continue to effectively deter the enemy's offensive.
Scale of enemy attacks
Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 68 air strikes, dropping 227 guided bombs. The enemy also used 9,190 kamikaze drones and fired 3,906 times at Ukrainian positions and populated areas, 98 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Air strikes were recorded in the areas of Korenka (Sumy region), Pysantsiv and Vasylivka (Dnipro region), as well as in Verkhnya Tersa, Dolynka, Lyubytske, Novosoloshyne, Veselyanka, Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne, Shevchenkivske and Preobrazhenka (Zaporizhzhya region).
Situation on the frontline
On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions the enemy made 69 attacks, including one from MLRS.
At Yuzhno-Slobozhansky Two assault attempts were registered near Starytsia and Zybinoye.
In the Kupyansk direction The aggressor attacked once near Novoosynove.
On the Liman direction There were eight attacks in the areas of Nadiya, Tverdokhlibove, Droysheve, Stavky and Lyman.
In the Slavic direction Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Platonivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznykivka.
In the Konstantinovka direction 23 attacks were recorded near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Berestka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiyivka.
In the Pokrovske direction Ukrainian troops repelled 42 assaults in the areas of Shakhove, Novopidhorodne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlynne, Udachne, Pokrovsk, Molodetske, as well as in the directions of Hahnivka, Novyi Donbas, Kucheriv Yar and Svitne.
In the Oleksandrivske direction the enemy attacked 10 times in the areas of Oleksandrograd, Vyshneve and Krasnohirske.
On the Gulyaypil direction There were 22 attacks near Huliaipol, Zaliznychne, Myrne and Sviatopetrivka.
On the Orikhivskyi direction the enemy carried out three attacks near Tokmachka, Stepove and Shcherbaky. There were no enemy offensives in the Dnipro sector.
Actions of the Defence Forces
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck five areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as one important enemy facility. Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy enemy forces and put up effective resistance in all areas of the frontline.

27 March marks the 1493rd day of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine. No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions. The Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold the line and inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.
