Today marks the 1,504th day of Russia's large-scale aggression against Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, 150 combat engagements were recorded, the enemy carried out over 80 air strikes and used thousands of kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian military is inflicting significant losses on the enemy in all directions.
Situation at the frontline
According to the operational information of the General Staff ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE, Russian troops conducted 150 combat engagements along the entire frontline over the last day. The fighting was particularly intense in the Pokrovske, Kostiantynivske and Oleksandrivske directions. The enemy focused its efforts on trying to break through the defences in the areas of Bilytske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Stepanivka and Illinivka.
Air strikes and the use of kamikaze drones
The enemy carried out 84 air strikes, dropping 242 guided aerial bombs on populated areas of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions. In addition, the use of more than 8,000 kamikaze drones and more than 3,000 attacks from various types of weapons, including multiple launch rocket systems, were recorded.
Defence and counter-offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian defence forces continue to effectively restrain the enemy's offensive, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment. Ukrainian aviation hit six enemy concentration areas. In many areas, including Sloviansk, Lyman and Kupyansk, the enemy failed to succeed and attempts to advance were repelled.
The situation in other areas
No signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors. Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy and hold the line in all areas of the frontline.
