Deputy Head of the OP Palisa announced plans to Putin to create a so-called «buffer zone» in Vinnytsia region on the Transnistrian side. This is the first time that Russia has officially put forward such intentions for this region. In addition, the enemy does not abandon the idea of buffer zones in Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
Putin prepares new buffer zone in Vinnytsia region
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Palisa said today that Putin is preparing to create a «buffer zone» in Vinnytsia region on the Transnistrian side for the first time ever. This decision was an unexpected step in the expansion of Russia's aggression in southwestern Ukraine.
The threat is spreading to other regions
According to Palisa, the enemy is not giving up its intention to create a «buffer zone» in Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. This could become the basis for further attempts to seize Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and later Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.
The purpose of creating buffer zones
The creation of buffer zones, according to the Kremlin's plan, should weaken the capabilities of the Ukrainian army and ensure strategic control over key regions. Such actions could lead to a new escalation of hostilities and threaten the safety of civilians.
