Defence forces hold back the offensive: current situation

Today marks the 1,505th day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, 170 combat engagements were recorded, and the enemy carried out more than 8,000 attacks with kamikaze drones. Ukraine's defence forces continue to successfully hold back the enemy's offensive on all major fronts.

Large-scale shelling and air strikes in the regions

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops conducted 71 air strikes, dropped 245 guided bombs, and used 8,425 kamikaze drones. A total of 3,292 attacks on Ukrainian settlements and positions were recorded, including 51 from multiple launch rocket systems. The areas of Buvalyne and Tovstodubove in Sumy region, Velykomykhailivka in Dnipropetrovs'k region, as well as Verkhnya Tersa, Vozdvyzhenska, Tavriyske, Novomykolaivka in Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Kherson were hit the hardest.

Repelling attacks in key areas

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled six enemy attacks and came under 78 attacks, two of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems. The enemy launched four air strikes using ten guided bombs. In the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy stormed positions four times in the areas of Prylipka, Vovchansk, Lyman and Hrafske.

The situation on the eastern and southern borders

In the Kupyansk sector, the aggressor attacked seven times in the areas of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Novoosynove. In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy advance attempts near Lyman, Droysheve, Stavky, Dibrova and Tverdokhlibove. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped nine attacks towards Rai Oleksandrivka, Riznikivka and Ozerne.

Heavy fighting near Kostiantynivka and in the south

In the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 32 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchyivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Sofiyivka and Pavlivka. In the Pokrovsk sector, 26 attacks were stopped near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Rivne, Pokrovske, Udachne, Hryshyne, Dachne, Filiya, Muravka and Novopavlivka. In the Oleksandrivsk sector, the enemy attacked 12 times in the areas of Sosnivka, Andriivka-Klevtseve, Kalynove, Verbove, Sichne, Vorone and Lisne. In the Huliaipil sector, 26 attacks took place in the areas of Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Varvarovka, Huliaipilske, Svyatopetrivka, Pryluky, Hirky, Olenokostiantynivka and Zaliznychne. In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy tried to advance near Kamianske. In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian troops stopped five attacks near Antonivskyi bridge.
