Liberation of territories and settlements
Ukrainian defence forces continue their offensive in the Oleksandrivka sector. This was reported by the communications officer of the 148th separate artillery brigade Kolesnichenko.
About 440 square metres of Ukrainian land was liberated. Nine settlements were returned under control:
- 2 in Zaporizhzhya region
- 7 in Dnipropetrovska oblast
Stabilisation measures and enemy actions
The three settlements have been successfully cleared. Stabilisation measures are underway to ensure security and restore control.
The enemy is trying to stabilise the situation in this area. Russian troops are pulling up reserves to deter the offensive of the Defence Forces.
Context.
The Oleksandrivsk direction is of strategic importance for the defence of Ukraine's southern regions. The liberation of settlements in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions strengthens the positions of Ukrainian troops in this area.
