Attack on the port of Ust-Luga: infrastructure damaged

A drone attack was reported near the port of Ust-Luga, damaging residential buildings, a school and a social welfare facility. More than 60 flights were cancelled and delayed at Pulkovo airport.

Damage to infrastructure and housing

As a result of the attack on the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation, significant damage to infrastructure was recorded. In the village of Molodtsovo, explosive fragments smashed windows in dozens of residential apartments.

A school building and a social welfare facility that was undergoing repairs were also damaged. Several victims were hospitalised, and according to preliminary reports, their lives are not in danger.

Air traffic disruptions

The attack caused serious disruptions to aviation operations. More than 60 flights were cancelled and delayed at Pulkovo Airport.

This is not the first time that attacks on the region's infrastructure have led to large-scale transport disruptions.
