Kremlin says it has not received an «updated peace plan» for Ukraine

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow did not receive an updated peace plan with 19 points, which is being actively discussed in the international media. According to him, the Kremlin has not received any new documents with proposals to resolve Russia's war against Ukraine.

At the same time, Peskov confirmed that Russia has American draft peace agreement, The Kremlin considers it to be «in line with the spirit of Alaska in many respects».

Peskov's main points

In his statement, the Kremlin spokesman said:

  • «It will be Russia's turn to deal specifically with the US plan for a Ukrainian settlement.».

  • «It is impossible to discuss the security architecture without the participation of Europeans - they will still be needed at some stage.».

  • «Russia is interested in achieving its goals through diplomatic means and remains open to negotiations.».

Earlier, international media reported that an updated plan of approximately 19 points was already being discussed between the partners. Ukrainian officials have clarified that some of the previously controversial provisions have been removed or amended.

The US and the EU are consulting on the architecture of the future agreement, while the Kremlin continues to promote its own terms and narratives.
