Poland changes rules of 800+ payments for Ukrainians from 1 February
Poland with 1 February Suspends automatic social assistance payments «800+ for Ukrainians. To continue receiving funds, you need to submit a new application to ZUS, reports Rzeczpospolita.
Payments will be made to not for everyone, but only to those families who meet the following criteria updated requirements.
Who will be able to receive «800+»
According to the new rules, Ukrainian families will be eligible for assistance if the following conditions are met:
Parents are officially employed (Umowa o pracę, Umowa zlecenie, individual entrepreneur) or have unemployment status.
The child must attend a Polish school or kindergarten.
The minimum income level has been set, from which taxes are paid at least 50% of the minimum wage. In 2026, this is approximately 2400 PLN.
Exceptions
Minimum income requirement not applicable To:
parents children with disabilities;
families with the child is a Polish citizen.
What you need to do
To avoid losing their benefits, Ukrainian families need to:
submit a new application to ZUS;
confirm employment or unemployment status;
provide data on education of a child in a Polish educational institution.
Context.
The 800+ programme is one of the key social benefits in Poland for families with children. The latest changes are aimed at strengthening of control and linking aid to integration into the Polish labour market and education system.
