Ukraine strikes at Russian UAV warehouses and station in Crimea

On the night of 4 March, the Ukrainian defence forces struck a number of important logistics facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Crimea.

As part of operations to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian army, Ukrainian units struck at several key facilities supporting the occupation forces.

In particular, an ammunition storage facility near Nyzhnya Krynka was hit. A logistics depot near Chystyakove in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region was also hit.

In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed a ground-based repeater of the control centre for Geranium and Gerbera attack drones in the Chornomorske area of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Attacks on enemy manpower

The Ukrainian military also attacked areas where Russian units were concentrated. The strikes targeted enemy troop concentrations on the outskirts of Berezove in Dnipropetrovs'k region and near Pokrovsk in Donetsk region.

According to preliminary information, the extent of Russian troop losses and damage is currently being clarified.

Context.

Ukraine's defence forces regularly strike at logistics hubs, warehouses and drone control points of Russian troops. Such operations are aimed at weakening the offensive capabilities of the occupation forces and disrupting the supply chain of the Russian army at the front.

The Ukrainian command emphasises that such operations will continue in the future to systematically reduce the combat potential of the Russian army.
