Ukraine is preparing to create its own «Iron dome», which will be much larger than its Israeli counterpart. This was announced by the Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavel Elizarov.

According to Pavlo Yelizarov, the Ukrainian Iron Dome will be different in scale and power from the Israeli one. «Our dome should be much bigger. The Israeli dome is a small speck in size, while ours will be much larger,» he explained. This will allow us to more effectively protect the Ukrainian sky from missile attacks.
New Ukrainian defence
The development of Ukraine's own air defence system is an important step in strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities. Given today's security challenges, Ukraine's new Iron Dome will help reduce the risks from enemy missile attacks and increase the level of protection for civilians and strategic assets.
