Sale of hazardous substances
Journalists Bihus.Info found out that in Ukraine, a synthetic cannabinoid classified as a type of spice was freely sold under the guise of souvenirs. The U420 network organised large-scale sales of this substance, which until 5 February was not on the list of those banned by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Even children could buy drugs. Sales were made without age restrictions.
Advertising through famous bloggers
U420 actively promoted its products on social media. Popular bloggers and actors were involved in advertising campaigns: Taras Tsymbaliuk, Anna Alkhim, Olya Rybai, Yulia Sheludko, Dana Green and others.
Publications advertising these «souvenirs» reached a wide audience, including minors.
