Russian troops break through defences on Zaporizhzhya front

People's Deputy of Ukraine Mariana Bezuhla reported on breakthrough of Russian troops on the Zaporizhzhya front.
She said this in her address, noting that the situation in eastern Ukraine is becoming critical.

«In Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, Kupiansk, Russians are already inside the cities. We are losing the last frontier, after which are Pavlohrad, Dnipro, Kramatorsk, Izyum and Kharkiv,» Bezuhla stressed.

Critical situation in the eastern part of the country

According to the MP, The enemy is actively using armoured vehicles and aircraft, trying to break through the Ukrainian defences in several areas at once.
In particular, the most tense situation remains in near Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, where Ukrainian forces are fighting defensive battles in urban areas.

Bezugla also warned that The loss of these areas will open the way for the enemy to the major industrial centres of eastern Ukraine.

«This is the last frontier before Dnipro and Kharkiv. The next few weeks will be crucial,» she added.

The Ukrainian command has not yet officially confirmed the information about the breakthrough, but noted that Heavy fighting continues in the Zaporizhzhia and Kupiansk sectors.
