Swiss model Beatrice Koile has publicly accused US President Donald Trump of rape, which she claims took place in November 1993 at the Plaza Hotel in New York. The woman claims that prior to the assault, Trump promised to help her obtain a US visa and gain admission to university, and that after the incident he demanded she remain silent. Her testimony is included in a new report by the Democrats on the US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, published on 26 October 2026.
- Swiss model Beatrice Koil has publicly accused Donald Trump of rape for the first time.
- Koil claims that she met Jeffrey Epstein at a beauty contest, and that he described himself as Trump’s best friend.
- A report by the Democrats in the US House of Representatives examines evidence relating to 11 women, five of whom directly accuse Trump of rape or sexual assault.
The model spoke out about being raped at the Plaza Hotel in 1993
According to the 56-year-old Beatrice Coil, the incident took place during the American Dream Pageant, a beauty contest linked to Donald Trump. At that time, the Swiss model was 24 years old.
The woman told Congress staff that she had met Trump at a press event at the Plaza Hotel. During their conversation, the businessman allegedly offered to help her move to the US. In particular, he promised to help secure a US visa through his acquaintance Paolo Zampolli and to ensure admission to New York University.
Later, according to Coile, she was invited to Trump’s hotel room. There, he allegedly grabbed her from behind and raped her. The woman stated that she suffered bruising and bleeding following the assault. According to her, Trump demanded that she keep quiet about what had happened and repeated his promises regarding a visa and her studies.
On her return to Switzerland, Koil declined to take part in the next competition organised by Trump. She also claims that a few months later he rang her and once again offered to help her move to the US.
Jeffrey Epstein described himself as Trump’s best friend
The model’s testimony also mentions an American financier Jeffrey Epstein, a man convicted of sexual offences.
According to Koil, she met him at that very beauty pageant. Epstein introduced himself to her as «Don’s best friend» and told her that he had organised numerous parties together with Trump. The financier also offered to pay for her travel and accommodation so she could attend a party at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
The authors of the report highlighted the similarities between these proposals and the methods which, according to other women, were used within Epstein’s circle to recruit young models.
At the same time, Epstein’s presence at the contest does not in itself corroborate Koyle’s allegations against Trump.
Why has Beatrice Coil only spoken out about the rape now?
The model had previously made allegations of sexual harassment against Trump, but had not publicly claimed that she had been raped.
In December 2025, in an interview with the Swiss newspaper *Blick*, she said that Trump kissed her by force and touched her without her consent. At the time, the woman alluded to an attempted rape, but did not report that the attack had resulted in rape.
Later, in an interview with *The New York Times*, Coil explained that she had withheld some of the details due to anonymous threats.
Following the publication of the new report, journalists from *Blick* asked her whether this was indeed the first time she had publicly accused Trump of rape. The model replied in the affirmative. Koile also stated that previously, some media outlets had been reluctant to publish all the details of her story due to the possibility of legal action.
According to the Democrats, certain details of her account are corroborated by the testimonies of other people who were present at the beauty pageant. However, there is no independent confirmation of the alleged rape itself.
The Congressional report mentions 11 women
On 26 October, a representative of the Democratic Party Jamie Ruskin has published a 53-page report drawn up by Democratic staff members of the US House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee.
The document contains information on 11 women linked to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s activities and his contacts with Donald Trump.
Five of them directly accuse Trump of rape or sexual assault. Others have described the circumstances in which Epstein or his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, allegedly attempted to recruit women for sexual encounters with the future US president. The report contains circumstantial evidence regarding several other women.
Among those whose stories were examined by the authors of the document are former model Stacey Williams, who had previously alleged that Trump had touched her inappropriately in his office, and Jill Hart, who filed a lawsuit against the businessman in 1997.
The report draws on material from the FBI, previously released documents from the Epstein case and interviews with witnesses.
The Democrats have called for the appointment of an independent special prosecutor to investigate the circumstances outlined. The document reflects the conclusions of representatives of the Democratic Party, not of the entire House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.
The White House has rejected the allegations against Trump
The US President’s Office has categorically denied the allegations set out in the new report.
White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis She told PEOPLE magazine that these claims were untrue, and described the document itself as a politically motivated attempt by the Democrats to discredit Trump. She also reiterated the administration’s position that the US President had previously expelled Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club.
No criminal charges have been brought against Donald Trump in connection with Beatrice Coil’s statements. Her new testimony has not yet been established by the court as proven facts.
