Sumy under attack: five explosions recorded, casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure
Powerful explosions occurred in the city - authorities confirm civilian objects were hit
A series of explosions occurred in Sumy in the evening. According to the acting mayor of Sumy Alexander Kobzar, recorded at least five strokes around the city.
«There were hits to civilian infrastructure. According to preliminary data, there are victims,» Kobzar said.
Rescuers, police and emergency services are working at the arrival sites. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and search for people who may have been trapped in the rubble.

According to local Telegram channels, the explosions occurred in several districts of the city. Eyewitnesses reported damage to residential buildings, warehouses and cars.
Air defence forces had previously attempted to intercept enemy drones, but some of the UAVs hit targets within the city.
