Russian troops advance on the right flank to Zaporizhzhia

Operational situation at the front

According to updated data from military analysts DeepState, Russian forces are advancing on the right flank towards Zaporizhzhya, trying to to bypass the Ukrainian defence line through the northern districts of Dnipropetrovska oblast.

The movement is carried out in small groups with the support of artillery and drones, which indicates attempt to find weaknesses in the defence.

The goal is to surround some of the Ukrainian positions

According to analysts, the actions of Russian troops may be part of a wider plan, aimed at creating a threat to the rear communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhya direction.

«Russians are actively developing offensive actions on the right flank, bypassing positions through the Dnipro region. This potentially allows them to enter the operational space to the south,» the DeepState report said.

Ukrainian forces hold the line

Despite the difficult situation, the Ukrainian units strengthening positions and launching counterattacks. The General Staff has not yet officially confirmed the shift in the front line, but acknowledges the enemy's increased activity in the direction of Zaporizhzhya.
