All Centrenergo TPPs shut down after the most massive Russian attack since the beginning of the war
After the massive Russian attack on the night of 7-8 November All thermal power plants of Centrenergo shut down.
This was reported in the company's press service, emphasising that It was the most massive attack on TPPs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
«The stations are on fire! We have stopped... We have zero generation now. We have lost what we were restoring around the clock. Completely! Every time the enemy hits us even harder, even more cynically,» the company said in a statement.
Russia's attack caused Significant damage to equipment and generation facilities, part of the power facilities were decommissioned.
Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage and emergency repair work is underway.
«Centrenergo is one of the key electricity producers in Ukraine, with the following components Trypilska, Zmiivska and Vuhlehirska TPPs.
Earlier it was reported that the enemy fired dozens of missiles and drones at energy infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro and Kyiv regions.
This led to electricity shortages and emergency shutdowns in a number of regions.
