Zelenskyy holds coordination meeting in Kherson on security, energy and drone defence
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spent Coordination meeting on security and socio-economic development of Kherson region with the participation of the military command, commanders 310th separate electronic warfare battalion and Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
The main focus was on Fighting Russian drones, that regularly attack the region. We discussed efficiency of the single unified emergency response centre, Expansion of mobile fire teams and scaling up electronic warfare systems for enhanced protection.
Details of the meeting
Considered development and implementation of special protective nets for roads and logistics routes that are often targeted during attacks.
Discussed energy stability issues, financing the needs of Kherson, as well as additional support for utilities, schools and kindergartens.
The President stressed the need to full implementation of agreed decisions to strengthen defence and improve the living conditions of people in the frontline region.
«It is important to implement everything we have talked about to give more protection to the region. People here deserve more support,» Zelensky concluded.
