A large explosion at the oil terminal in the port of Novorossiysk
On the night of 14 November, a series of explosions and a fire broke out in the port of Novorossiysk at the Sheskharis oil export terminal. According to Ukrainian and independent media reports, the attack, allegedly carried out by drones, caused a large-scale fire at the facility, which is an important part of the Transneft oil pipeline complex.

According to UNN, the oil terminal in the Sheskharis area was damaged and a large fire broke out on the site.
According to Ukrainian sources, the facility belongs to the Transneft export complex and is the end point of the oil pipeline.
Eyewitnesses report explosions, black smoke and numerous fire brigades on the scene.

The port of Novorossiysk is a key Black Sea hub for Russian oil and oil products. Attacks on such facilities hurt Russia's energy export capabilities and reduce revenues that could fund the war effort.
