SBU Sea Baby maritime drones strike Russian «shadow fleet» tanker Dashan in Black Sea
According to sources, on 10 December, maritime drones SSU Sea Baby hit an oil tanker in the Black Sea Dashan, which belongs to the so-called «shadow fleet» Russia.
Flagged vessel Comoros was moving in the exclusive economic zone of Ukraine towards the port terminal of Novorossiysk. The tanker was sailing at maximum speed and with the transponder switched off, This is a sign of concealed transport.
The operation was a joint one - it was carried out by 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine and Ukrainian Navy.
Consequences of the impact
As a result of the attack, the vessel sustained critical damage.

According to sources:
- the cost of the Dashan tanker is about $30 million;
- One flight could carry oil products to approximately $60 million;
- sanctions have already been imposed against the vessel EU, UK, Canada, Australia and Switzerland due to the transportation of Russian oil with identification systems disabled.
The SBU emphasises that this is part of a systematic effort to reduce Russian budget revenues.
“Over the past two weeks, it has been third A tanker of the «shadow fleet», which helped the Kremlin to circumvent sanctions, was disabled,” the SBU source said.
