BES conducted large-scale searches at YABKO: what is known

In Lviv region, detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine conducted large-scale investigative actions against the YABKO network. This was reported by the journalist's sources Plinsky in law enforcement agencies.

According to their information, the events took place not in retail stores, but in the company's head offices and logistics centres - in places of storage, accumulation and distribution of equipment.

Preliminary, the investigation is talking about seizing products believed to be smuggled in excess of $100 million.

Possible scheme

According to the interlocutors, more than 100 individual entrepreneurs could have been involved in the sale of goods without paying taxes. The detectives estimate that the budget may have lost more than UAH 40 million due to this scheme.
