The «Home» platform for the return of Ukrainians
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has announced the launch of a new state-run information platform, «Home», which is designed to help Ukrainians living abroad prepare for their return to Ukraine. The new resource forms part of the government’s policy to support citizens who were forced to leave the country due to the full-scale war. Platform is designed to provide comprehensive and clear information on all stages of return and subsequent integration.
What the new service offers
On the platform, users can find step-by-step guidance on preparing for their return, as well as create a personalised plan tailored to their individual circumstances. Among the available resources are: information on employment in Ukraine, training and retraining opportunities, national and local social support programmes, advice on the necessary documents, and useful contacts for government agencies.
According to the developers’ plans, the service is set to become the single point of access to up-to-date information for those considering the possibility of return home.
Communities will talk about what they can offer
One of the platform’s key features is a special section containing what are known as «community profiles». Here, Ukrainian communities can post information about available housing, medical and social services, educational institutions, infrastructure, job vacancies and contact details for local authorities.
