Russian drones attacked petrol stations in the Kharkiv region

On the night of 27 June, Russian occupation forces carried out drone strikes on the Solonytsia community in the Kharkiv district. The main targets of the attack were two petrol stations.

At the first petrol station, a drone strike caused the building to collapse and sparked a fire covering an area of 400 square metres. Ten pieces of equipment on the premises were damaged.

At the second petrol station, the impact damaged the control room building, but a fire was successfully prevented there.

Units from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack. Fire and rescue teams, bomb disposal experts and psychologists were working at the scene SES and the community’s rescue officers. The specialists checked the area for explosive devices, put out the fire and ensured the safety of local residents.

Despite significant damage to infrastructure, preliminary reports indicate that there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack. Law enforcement agencies and relevant services are documenting the aftermath of yet another Russian strike on civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv region.
