Debris clearance continues in Kyiv region after Russian shelling
Rescuers have completed extinguishing fires at eight locations in different districts of Kyiv region following the Russian attack. In two settlements, the response is still ongoing.
As of 13:00, SES units have extinguished all the fires caused by Russian shelling in the Kyiv region. This was reported by the SES rescuers.
Details of the work
In the village of Putrivka, Fastiv district, and the village of Sofiyivska Borshchahivka, the rubble of destroyed houses is being cleared. Emergency services are working on the ground.
A warming tent has been set up for residents of the damaged homes. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service are also involved in the work to help the victims.
Context.
Russian troops continue regular attacks on the Kyiv region, causing destruction of housing and infrastructure. After each strike, rescue services carry out large-scale relief and assistance operations.
