The billion-dollar effect: Ukrainians have significantly strengthened Poland's economy
Ukrainians have generated about PLN 328.6 billion for the Polish economy, which is eight times more than Warsaw spent on aid to Ukraine. This is reported by «RBC-Ukraine».
According to the publication, the employment rate among Ukrainians in Poland is 75-85%, which is higher than among Poles themselves.
Scale of Ukrainian presence in Europe
Currently, about 4.35 million Ukrainian citizens are under temporary protection in the European Union.
The total number of Ukrainian refugees in the world is estimated at 7 million.
Education and integration
According to the above estimates, 70-80% of adult Ukrainian refugees have higher education. Most of them are employed and integrated into the economies of their host countries, rather than living solely on social benefits.
