TP investigation has a statute of limitations: after one year, administrative liability does not apply
The search by territorial recruitment centres (TRCs) for persons who have violated the rules of military registration has a limited time limit. If from the moment of the violation one year, It is no longer possible to bring a person to administrative responsibility.
This is reported by the Channel 24 with reference to the provisions of Ukrainian legislation.
What is the term of liability
This refers to the timeframe for bringing to justice for administrative offences related to military registration.
According to the law, if the following has passed since the violation was committed one year, administrative proceedings can no longer be initiated or applied.
This means that no fine or other administrative sanctions can be imposed after this period has elapsed.
What is a wanted list for a criminal company
The search announced by the territorial recruitment centres is used to locate citizens who have violated the rules of military registration.
In particular, we are talking about cases when a person:
fails to appear when summoned;
does not update military registration data;
change of residence without notifying the TCC.
Context.
Since the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine, control over military registration and mobilisation procedures has been significantly tightened.
At the same time, lawyers emphasise that even in these circumstances, there are general terms of bringing to administrative liability, as defined by law.
