Peskov sets conditions for cessation of hostilities

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that the hot phase of the war can only end if Ukraine withdraws its troops from the territory of Donbas. This statement was made today during a briefing for Russian and international media.

Russia does not give up its goals in the war

Peskov also added that Russia will continue to hold the so-called DEC until all its goals are fully achieved. He stressed that any compromises are possible only after these conditions are met. Thus, the Kremlin's position remains unchanged on the continuation of hostilities.
