General Staff reports 149 combat engagements overnight

The 1,502nd day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 149 combat engagements were recorded, the enemy carried out 91 air strikes and used thousands of kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks in various directions, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.

Operational situation at the front

As of 08:00 today, Ukraine's defence forces continue to hold back Russian occupants' attempts to advance deeper into the country's territory. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy conducted 149 combat engagements along the entire frontline. The most intense fighting took place in the Kostiantynivske, Pokrovske, Oleksandrivske and Huliaipil sectors.

Massive strikes and shelling

The occupiers carried out 91 air strikes, dropped 275 guided aerial bombs, used 9,678 kamikaze drones and fired 3,913 times at Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 114 times from multiple launch rocket systems. Air strikes were recorded in the areas of Ivanivka, Dobropasove, Levadne, Vyshneve, Lisne, Velykomykhailivka, Oleksandrivka, Pokrovske in the Dnipro region, as well as in Verkhnya Tersa, Vozdvyzhenska, Novoselivka, Rybalske, Lyubytske in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces

Aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit the command post and two areas of concentration of occupants' personnel. In different directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of enemy assaults, in particular in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyno, Kostiantynivka, Oleksandrograd, Sichneve, Verbove, Varvarovka and other settlements.

The situation in certain areas

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, 105 attacks were registered, in the South Slobozhansky sector - seven assaults, and in the Kupyansk sector - nine attacks. In the Liman, Sloviansk and Prydniprovsky sectors, Ukrainian troops successfully restrained the enemy's offensive. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
