The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that Ukrainian drones destroy more occupants every month than Russia manages to mobilise. In March, enemy losses from drones increased by 29%, and the number of targets hit reached over 150,000. Russia is trying to build up its drone forces, but the initiative remains with Ukraine.

Ukrainian drones: the key to maintaining the initiative

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, For four months in a row, unmanned systems have been playing a crucial role in deterring the Russian offensive. Ukrainian drone units not only destroy more occupants than Russia can mobilise, but also inflict significant damage to enemy equipment and infrastructure.

March results: record losses for Russians

In March, enemy losses from drones increased by 29% compared to the previous month. During this time, more than 150,000 targets were hit, which is 50% more than in February. Every day, Ukrainian drones carry out more than 11,000 combat missions, and about 350 strikes are carried out at a depth of 30 to 120 kilometres.

Defeat of Russian strategic targets

Among those affected goals - logistics hubs, control points and Russia's energy infrastructure. This significantly undermines the enemy's ability to conduct large-scale offensives. At the same time, Russia is trying to build up its drone forces: there are currently more than 100,000 of them, and by the end of the year they plan to increase to 165,500.

Prospects for drone warfare

Despite Russia's attempts to build up its drone resources, the strategic initiative remains with Ukraine. Analysts note that the effectiveness of Ukrainian drone units is growing, and innovations in this area could be crucial for future operations.
