Russian aggression against Ukraine has been going on for 1509 days. Over the past day, more than two thousand attacks and dozens of assaults were registered in various frontline areas.
Scale of hostilities and shelling
Over the past day, 2,299 ceasefire violations were recorded. In particular, Russian troops carried out 28 assault actions, 479 attacks, 747 kamikaze drone strikes and 1045 fpv drone strikes. No attacks with missiles, guided bombs or Shahed-type UAVs were recorded. It was clarified that the day before, the enemy carried out 58 air strikes, dropping 184 guided aerial bombs, and used 8458 kamikaze drones. Settlements in Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka and Khersonska oblasts were affected. This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine on official channel on Telegram.
Defensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and enemy losses
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck four areas of enemy manpower and equipment concentration, as well as two command and control points. In total, Russian troops suffered 1,070 casualties. In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed eight tanks, three armoured combat vehicles, 73 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defence system, 2,081 drones and 216 vehicles.
Situation on different frontlines
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy attacked Ukrainian military positions five times and fired 46 times. In the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy tried to break through the defences in the areas of Starytsia, Vetarine, Prylipka and Vovchansky Khutoriv five times. Four attacks were registered in the Kupiansk sector, and nine attempts by the enemy to break into the defences near Zarichne, Shyikivka, Droysheve and Lyman in the Liman sector. The aggressor made 21 attacks in the Kostiantynivske sector and 22 assault actions in the Pokrovske sector.
Situation in other areas
Six attacks were registered in the Oleksandrivsk sector and seven in the Huliaipil sector. In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy tried to advance towards Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island three times. In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. No combat engagements were registered in the Kramatorsk and Orikhivsk sectors.
Current situation and prospects
