The right-wing liberal Tysa party, led by Peter Magyar won the parliamentary elections in Hungary with 138 seats. Magyar called for the complete resignation of all state leaders, including the president.

After processing 98,93% ballots, the opposition party Tysa received 53,07% votes. This gave it 138 seats in the National Assembly, which exceeds the threshold for a constitutional majority (133 seats). Fidesz party« Viktor Orban together with the Christian Democratic People's Party received 55 seats each. The Our Country party won 6 seats.
A call for the resignation of the country's leadership
Peter Magyar, leader of the «Tysa» party, after the announcement of the preliminary results, called on all heads of state, including the president Tamas Schuyk, to resign. Magyar stressed the need for a complete renewal of the state apparatus. He stressed that this should happen immediately.
Changing political landscape
The elections ended Fidesz's 16-year dominance in parliament. Tisza's victory means a significant change in the balance of power in the National Assembly.
