Acting Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Borniakov said that all draft laws and decisions of the Ukrainian government are now subject to artificial intelligence assessment. According to him, the system determines how useful the initiatives are for citizens and businesses.
Introducing artificial intelligence into government work
Acting Minister of Digital Transformation Alexander Bornyakov said that the Ukrainian government has started using artificial intelligence to analyse draft laws and decisions. The tool compiles a table that assesses the impact of each decision on different groups - citizens and businesses.
According to Borniakov, the system can determine whether a particular decision will be positive or negative for different categories of the population. This helps the government make more informed decisions.
How the system works
Artificial intelligence analyses each initiative and draws conclusions about its impact. For example, AI can indicate that a certain bill is negative for citizens but positive for business.
Such an assessment allows government officials to see the different sides of the impact of decisions and take this into account when making the final decision.
The role of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in the digitalisation of the state
The Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to introduce innovative tools to increase the transparency and efficiency of the state. Using artificial intelligence in assessing government decisions is one step in this direction.
