Removal of the 14th Brigade Command
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported personnel changes in the Kupyansk sector. The commander of the 14th Separate Mechanised Brigade was dismissed due to unreliable reports on the situation on the frontline.
According to the General Staff, the previous command did not report real problems, which led to the loss of some positions. The commander of the 10th Army Corps was demoted.
Problems with supplying the military
Individual divisions in the Kupyansk direction faced interruptions in food supplies. There have been cases of military personnel being forced to drink rainwater.
Videos of the soldiers' appeals appeared on social media the day before. Relatives of the soldiers report cases of fainting due to hunger.
Impact of Russian attacks on logistics
Russian troops continue to attack crossings of the Oskil River. This significantly complicates logistics and supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The General Staff noted that the support is currently being provided by watercraft and heavy drones.
Measures to stabilise the situation
The command is reinforcing air defence and electronic warfare in the Kupiansk sector. In particular, additional measures are being taken to protect against UAVs.
The General Staff also announced that it was building up logistical capacities and controlling the supply of units.
