Assault whilst on duty
In Kharkiv, an attack took place on military personnel from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre whilst they were carrying out activities to notify those liable for military service. According to official reports, the team leader introduced himself to a member of the public, after which the man suddenly attacked the military personnel with a knife.
One serviceman died from multiple stab wounds. The other casualty underwent surgery and is currently in hospital. In the Kharkiv Regional TCC and the Joint Stock Company expressed their condolences to the family, loved ones and comrades of the deceased.
