The company reported an evacuation and a localised fire
Wildberries & Russ has stated that UAVs attacked its logistics facilities in Elektrostal, in the Moscow Region, and in Kotovsk, in the Tambov Region. According to the company, an emergency evacuation was carried out at both sites.
The company has denied reports of a fire inside the warehouse in Elektrostal. They claim that a fire broke out briefly in the staff accommodation area on the perimeter of the logistics facility, outside the warehouse building. The site’s fire service quickly extinguished the blaze.
According to Wildberries & Russ, following the incident, the Elektrostal site continued to operate as normal.
The reports on the two sites should not be confused
The attacks took place within the same time frame, but reports suggest that the consequences at the two sites differ. The figures for the dead and injured relate to the company’s logistics centre in Kotovsk, not Elektrostal.
The governor of the Tambov Region has reported that seven night-shift workers were killed and 24 were injured in Kotovsk.
