Stocks at the site had been built up over the years
The target was destroyed during of a massive Russian attack on the night of 4 to 5 August, according to a statement from the Delta Plus Ukraine press office. According to the statement, the company lost property and stock that had been built up over many years in the space of a single night.
The company did not disclose the extent of the losses. Delta Plus Ukraine represents the French Delta Plus Group, which develops, manufactures and supplies professional personal and collective protective equipment.
Shipments have been suspended; goods remain in the retail chains
Due to the scale of the damage, the Ukrainian division has completely halted direct shipments of its products. Its team is looking for ways to resume operations, restore its warehouse infrastructure and re-establish supply chains. To return to business as usual, the company will likely have to set up a new warehouse site and organise alternative logistics. The group’s international presence may facilitate the search for supply channels, but this does not guarantee a swift recovery of sales in Ukraine.
Certain Delta Plus products may remain available through the official dealer network, as well as at the «Epicentre», «Oldi», «Nova Linia» and «Leroy Merlin» hypermarkets, until existing stock is exhausted.
The company’s product range includes workwear, safety footwear, gloves, hard hats, respiratory protection and equipment for working at height. Stock shortages may temporarily reduce the availability of certain models, sizes and product ranges, and lead to longer delivery times. Delta Plus has not reported any general shortages or the complete disappearance of its products from the Ukrainian market.
