Russia launched a drone attack on the Poltava region: a petrol station, a house and an industrial facility were set alight

In the evening On 9 August, Russian forces attacked the Poltava district with strike drones. Strikes were recorded at petrol stations, an industrial facility and a private residence. Fires broke out at several locations, which the emergency services fully extinguished.

Russian drones attacked several targets

The head of the Poltava Regional State Administration reported on the consequences of the attack Vitaliy Dyakivnych. According to him, Russian troops attacked several targets in the Poltava district this evening.

Drones struck petrol stations, an industrial plant and a private residence. Fires broke out at the sites following the strikes.

Units from the State Emergency Service arrived at the scene. The rescue workers extinguished all the fires and continued to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack.

At one of the sites, a leak of a hazardous chemical occurred following the strike, which was dealt with by the emergency services.

A new attack on the evening of 9 August once again targeted civilian and industrial sites in the region. This time, the emergency services managed to extinguish all the fires, and there are no reports of casualties.
