In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, rescue workers have been working through the night and into the morning to deal with the aftermath of drone strikes at several locations. Whilst working at one of these sites, a second drone strike was recorded. Following a reconnaissance operation, units from the State Emergency Service resumed their work; the fire in the warehouse building has been contained, and clean-up operations are ongoing.

Work resumed following a reconnaissance of the area
Following the UAV strikes, warehouses and vehicles caught fire in the area. When one of the sites was struck again, the rescue workers carried out a reconnaissance and resumed their work. They are operating under the constant threat of further strikes.
Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Timur Tkachenko reported that, as of the morning of 28 August, damage had also been recorded in Fastiv, Boryspil, in the Vyshhorod and Brovary districts. According to his information, 14 warehouses, 16 private homes, three blocks of flats and 16 vehicles were damaged in the region.
Cars and a residential building were damaged
The State Emergency Service extinguished a fire involving thirteen cars. The shockwave from the explosion shattered the windows of a block of flats.
According to the head of the Bilohorod community Anton Ovsienko, in Svyatopetrivsk, the following were affected storage facilities «Nova Poshta» and a factory nearby. Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack in the Bucha district are continuing.
