In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, a large-scale fire broke out in some warehouses following a Russian attack. According to eyewitnesses, an ammunition depot may be on fire at the scene, which is why secondary explosions are being reported. The police have completely closed the Zhytomyr motorway in both directions between the 15th and 32nd kilometres of the M-06 «Kyiv–Chop» motorway.
A major fire broke out in the Bucha district following the attack
In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, some warehouses caught fire in the evening following a Russian attack.

The Zhytomyr road has been completely closed in both directions
Due to the dangerous situation, the police completely blocked traffic on the Zhytomyr road in both directions.
Restrictions have been introduced on a section of the international road M-06 «Kyiv–Chop», from the 15th to the 32nd kilometre.
Traffic is prohibited for all vehicles. Drivers are advised to take the road closure into account when planning their route and, where possible, to choose alternative routes.
The resumption of traffic will depend on the situation on the ground, the completion of priority emergency and rescue operations, and the elimination of the risk of further explosions.
A secondary explosion is hampering the work of the rescue teams
Units from the State Emergency Service, the police and other emergency services are working at the scene. Rescue workers are trying to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring buildings.
Tkachenko noted that the emergency services are doing everything possible to deal with the aftermath of the attack. Due to the risk of further explosions, traffic near the scene has been restricted, and residents of the area are being asked to stay away from the fire zone.
