
Ukraine returns 17 more children from the temporarily occupied territories
Another group of Ukrainian children managed to return from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the initiative Bring Kids Back.
Total liberated 17 children, including minors who were forcibly detained or persecuted by the occupiers because of their families' pro-Ukrainian stance.
Among those rescued is a guy who was sent to a military camp by the Russians
Among those liberated are A 17-year-old teenager, who was forcibly sent to a «military-patriotic camp» by the Russian occupiers, as well as another boy, detained and interrogated by the AFU through relatives.
In addition, a 7-year-old boy was taken out of occupation, whom the family was hiding from forced «removal», and brother and sister - 12 and 9 years old, who were bullied at school for their Ukrainian origin.
Government response
The government stressed that The return of every child is a priority for the state, and liberation operations continue in cooperation with international partners and human rights organisations.
Initiative Bring Kids Back has already helped hundreds of families reunite after forced deportations by Russia.
