Over 100 thousand Ukrainian consumers were left without electricity supply as a result of another massive Russian attack on energy facilities. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, which specified that both generating and grid companies in several regions were hit.
What are the consequences of the attack
According to the Ministry of Energy, equipment at several key energy facilities was damaged. As a result, the following was recorded large-scale outages in the residential sector. Energy companies were forced to carry out emergency switching to stabilise grid operations. In a number of regions, it is possible to emergency shutdown schedules in case of additional load.
The Ministry clarified that the frontline and central regions were most affected, but details were not disclosed for security reasons.
