- promoted in Washington positions favourable to russia;
- tried to influence the formation of US foreign policy in a way that did not follow the official line;
- acted in contact with representatives of a structure linked to the Kremlin;
- provided «highly questionable» recommendations to the administration on Ukraine and NATO.
Some politicians directly accused him of attempts to sabotage US support for Ukraine.
Demand for immediate release
The congressmen appealed to the White House:
to immediately remove Witkoff from office,
transfer materials on its activities to the US Department of Justice for legal assessment.
