
Ukraine introduces border and customs control in train carriages
A new system is being introduced in Ukraine border and customs control directly in train carriages. This was announced by the Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, The new regime will significantly reduce border crossing time and reduce the load on the checkpoint.
The control will be carried out by while the train is in motion, based on the model that already works on Intercity+ from Ukraine to Poland.

Gradually, the new regime will be introduced at international night flights, In particular:
Kyiv - Przemyśl,

The government expects that this scheme will remove queues at the platforms and reduce the overall travel time.

- avoiding delays at checkpoints,
- reducing the burden on border infrastructure,
- improving comfort for passengers on night trains.
