MP Skorokhod reports seizure of phone, ammunition and materials on SBU and police during search

People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, a suspect in the bribery case, said that during a search on 5 December, law enforcement officers seized her phone, ammunition for a machine gun and materials related to the work of the SBU and the police. She told this to Suspilne correspondents.

Skorokhod claims that she does not know where she got the ammunition seized by investigators. According to her, during the search, law enforcement officers also seized documents and materials related to investigations into individual SBU and police officers.

The MP refused to comment on the substance of the suspicion, noting that she would do so after the investigation.

«I am summoned for questioning by the NABU on 8 December. After that, I will be able to comment on the case,» Skorokhod said.

The position of the investigation

The anti-corruption authorities refrained from commenting on the results of the searches and details of the suspicion, citing the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation.

As part of the criminal proceedings, Skorokhod is accused of receiving undue advantage. She previously confirmed the searches but said she believed the suspicion was unfounded. The investigation is ongoing.
