Russian strike damages building of fire and rescue unit in Zaporizhzhia region

At night, Russian troops conducted a UAV strike on the territory of one of the settlements Zaporizhzhya district. The attack targeted a civilian infrastructure facility.

The blast wave damaged the building of the fire and rescue unitThe building's windows and doors were smashed, the roof was damaged, and some elements of the facade were partially destroyed. Debris and damage from the explosion were recorded at the site.

At the time of the attack, the personnel was on the road - rescuers were extinguishing a fire in a neighbouring village. Thanks to this, none of the SES employees did not suffer.

Context.

Zaporizhzhia region regularly suffers from attacks on civilian targets such as hospitals, administrative buildings, residential areas and critical infrastructure. The SES is operating an enhanced response mode in the region.
