Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN Andriy Melnyk tells Russia at the Security Council that Ukraine does not trade its territory and sovereignty

«We are not at a Christmas market. We are not at the infamous Cherkizovsky Bazaar. Russia wants Ukraine to surrender. But here's my answer: you will get a hole from a bagel, not Ukraine!» Melnyk said.

Ukraine will not accept blackmail

The diplomat stressed that Kyiv will continue to defend its principled positions in the negotiations and will not allow attempts to impose «peace» on Russia's terms. According to Melnyk, the Ukrainian position is firm: no concessions on the issue of territories, independence and sovereignty.
